Early Beginnings and Aviation Career
Mr. Udom began his aviation journey over 50 years ago as a Commercial Pilot and Aviation Manager, a dual track that positioned him uniquely for the broad responsibilities he would assume later in life. As an airline and corporate pilot, he flew extensively across the world, amassing thousands of flight hours on a diverse range of aircraft types. This global exposure enriched his understanding of aviation operations, safety culture, and international best practices.
His early cockpit experience provided the technical depth and confidence that later informed his executive leadership and consultancy roles. It also established him as one of the Nigerian aviation professionals who built their expertise through rigorous flying careers before transitioning to high-level management.
